ABOUT
The idea behind Upcycled Art by Eliska is the belief that everyone can contribute to make our world a better, more sustainable place. Walking through the streets of Melbourne I have realised that people are throwing out so many of their once treasured belongings. Among the furniture and household items littering the streets are old painting canvases that once decorated someone's home. Now they lay on the sidewalk, neglected and predetermined to end up as landfill.It is my mission to give these canvases another chance. I bring them home, wash them,fix them and paint them. I breathe new life into them so they can once again be proudly hung on someone's wall.
